posted 5 days agoHi, sorry to hear about the problem. Can you send more details about what you're experiencing? The extension still works here, so the problem might be something on your computer, like another plugin that is conflicting with this one. To report a problem, go to the main page for the plugin and look for the "Support Site" link. Then choose "Issue" or "Discussion" and write more details. If it's a bug, I will fix it within 24-48 hours.

For people who don't trust this, all you need to do is to change the "shorts/" to "watch?v=" but there is no need to do that for every video.
(For example:
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Rn_DffYA_vM
Is a YouTube shorts link.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn_DffYA_vM
Is the same video but as normal YouTube video and not shorts.
They both have the same ID, "Rn_DffYA_vM").
(I just picked a random video I found, but if you want the full video [because this is a shorts video and people usually don't tell from whom they took the source],

I highly recommend this to every person who is using PC and doesn't want to keep dealing with the bad UI of YouTube shorts. - Rated 5 out of 5by effgo, 3 years agoEdit 2026: It sure works now! :) Now, I wil PAY YOU if you devise a global youtube shorts blocker for kid smartphones! ;) Simply doesn't work for me at all, on neither of my 2 computers.
