ScamAvert helps you recognise and avoid online scams while you browse. It checks website addresses, links, sign-in forms, page behaviour and downloads for common signs of deception, then explains what looks suspicious.

ScamAvert helps identify scam indicators, but no protection can detect every scam and an unflagged website should not automatically be considered safe.
The ScamAvert Windows desktop app is optional. The browser extension works independently.
