Blur Remover by eiden12

Blur Remover removes the CSS blur that hides images and text on web pages — with one click, or automatically on the sites you choose.

How to use

1. Click the Blur Remover icon in the toolbar. Blurs on the page are removed as soon as the popup opens, and the icon turns blue.
2. To bring the blurs back, click Restore blurs in the popup. The page is not reloaded.

Auto-remove on sites you choose

Turn on Auto-remove on this site in the popup and allow access to the site when Firefox asks. From then on, blurs are removed whenever you open a page on that site, and a small notice briefly fades in and out in the top-right corner. Turning the switch off stops auto-remove and gives up access to the site.

What gets removed

• CSS filter: blur(), including SVG blur filters
• backdrop-filter: blur() (frosted-glass overlays)
• Transparent text made readable only through a blurred text shadow
• Gradient fade-out overlays placed over content
• Blurs that appear after the page has loaded

Limitations

• Only blur applied with CSS in your browser can be removed. Images that were blurred before being uploaded, and content the site never sent to your browser, cannot be revealed.
• On sites with auto-remove turned on, decorative blur effects (such as frosted-glass menus) are removed too.
• Blurs inside embedded frames are not removed.
