Unfollowers for Instagram is a privacy-focused browser extension that shows which Instagram accounts you follow don't follow you back.

It runs entirely inside your own logged-in Instagram tab. There's no separate app, no account or sign-up, and it never asks for your Instagram password.

Everything runs in your browser. Your data is never collected, logged, or sent to any server other than Instagram itself.

• Non-Followers, Followers & Fans
  See who doesn't follow you back, who does, and your fans: people who follow you but you don't follow back.

  Highlights accounts that unfollowed you since your previous scan.
• Local Caching
  Results are saved in your browser, so you can reopen them instantly (with a "scanned 1 day, 2 hours ago" age) instead of scanning again.
• Sequential Bulk Unfollow
  Select several accounts and unfollow them one at a time, with a progress banner, pause/resume and cancel. Confirmations and results appear inside the overlay, so nothing blocks the page mid-run.
• Account Safety Controls
  Requests are spaced out: 4–7 seconds between unfollows with a 3–5 minute break every 10, and short pauses and breaks during scans. The extension warns you before scanning again too soon, stops if Instagram blocks a scan, and pauses automatically on rate limits (HTTP 429).
• Accurate Scans
  Reads your following list in a stable order so no accounts are skipped, and warns you if Instagram returns an incomplete followers list before you unfollow anyone.
• Cache Export & Import
  Save your results as a JSON file and import them on another browser or device without re-scanning.
• Layouts, Sorting & Filters
  List or Grid view. Sort by Recently Unfollowed, Username (A-Z / Z-A), Private First or Verified First. Filter by New Unfollowers, Non-followers, Followers, Fans, Verified and Private accounts. Works on small screens with a collapsible Filters & Options drawer.

HOW TO USE:
1. Log into your account on instagram.com.
2. Click the Unfollowers for Instagram icon in your browser toolbar.
3. Click "Launch Scanner" to open the overlay and start scanning.

USE MODERATELY:
Instagram may treat frequent scans or unfollows as automated behavior and temporarily restrict your account. Scan a few times a day at most, at least an hour apart, and unfollow in moderation.
